Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex.
