Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress, best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After the divorce of her parents, she left Worthington in Ohio and moved in Los Angeles. The role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the character of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost including the series finale. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season which ran from 2013 until the year 2014. She plays Faith as a groupie, and also a muse to the stars who captures the interest of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Then she was in comedies and dramas, including Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 She also was a Secret Service Agent in White House Down which was an action thriller from 2013, a musician in Frank (2014) as well as the lead role on The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018. Gyllenhaal began her professional career as screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021. she wrote and directed her psychological horror film The Lost Daughter. The film received the award for Best Screenplay in the Venice International Film Festival, and was later nominated by The Academy Award. Academy Award.
