Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress, best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After the divorce of her parents, she left Worthington in Ohio and moved in Los Angeles. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal role for two seasons, and won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the show in order to concentrate on her film career.
