Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and charitable philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition for her career and achievements in the international law of human rights. Her notable clients include the nation of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in pop culture. Prior to that, the actress was known for successfully representing her clients in court and was well-known. She has tackled human and civil rights concerns and representing multinational corporations in their court actions and negotiations concerning the regulations of government. In 2015, Doughty Street Chambers is situated in London, and she was an attorney.
